Blueberry Cake

My mother in law is a wonderful cook and this is one of her recipes.  It's so delicious and moist,  your going to love this cake.  I used some of the blueberries that we picked as a family last summer so it was especially tasty!

1 1/2 Cups White Sugar
1/2 Cup Butter
1/2 Cup Milk
1 Tsp Vanilla
2 Eggs

Mix these ingredients well until smooth (use beaters or kitchen aid mixer), then add;

1 1/2 Cups Flour
1 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt

Mix until it is well blended, then fold in

1 1/4 Cup Blueberries

Top with a cinnamon sugar mixture.  Bake in the oven at 350 for 50-60 minutes.  It needs that long to cook.  It will look as though from the top that you are over cooking it but it's necessary to properly cook the whole cake.  Bake it in a square pan.  This cake will be moist and delicious.

Enjoy!
